At 12:00 on July 14, a 49-car CRE train loaded with machinery and equipment left China via Horgos border station, heading for Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. This is the 2000th CRE train that crossed the Chinese border via Horgos border station this year. On the same day, there were 17 CRE trains leaving China via Horgos border station, reaching a new high in the stations outbound CRE trains in a single day.
As China Railway Urumqi Group Co., Ltd. takes advantage of its border stations by optimizing their transportation organization and improving their customs clearance efficiency, the number of CRE trains operated across its border stations is steadily increasing.
It is reported that there are 18 CRE train routes via the Horgos border station, covering more than 20 cities in China.
